Through her work, she guides clients to observe rather than judge the resistance, reaction, emotion or sensation experienced during practice. This allows the mind to connect with the body. Our yoga practice is a reflection of who we are in the world. When resistance arises in our practice, we recognize that it is the same resistance that shows up in our lives. She invites us to explore what hides behind our resistance and recognize how many of our limitations (mental, emotional or physical) are unconsciously self-imposed and, therefore, adjustable, not only on our mats but in our lives. She guides clients to listen to the body's messages at a deeper level and connect to the wisdom that resides within. She is trained in Hatha, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy (YT), YT for Pain Care, YT for the Perinatal Spectrum, Functional YT, Subtle Body YT, YT for Grief Relief, YT for anxiety and depression, Yoga of Recovery, Chair Yoga, Satori, and Wall Yoga.
She is currently working on her 800-hour Yoga Therapy certification and is a Yoga Therapist intern. She is also an Emotion Code practitioner and certified in a myriad of healing modalities.
