NEW TO YOGA?

What to expect …

Congratulations on following the nudge to try a yoga class. We are honored you have chosen Resilient Soul Yoga Studio! We know it can be intimidating, so we want you to know what you can expect.

Getting here.

We are located at 418 E 4th St #100, Loveland, CO 80537. (Google Map)

We are tucked behind East End Ale House in their parking area. The studio is not visible from 4th Street.

Please arrive 15 minutes before class so we can give you a quick tour, and you can get settled in.

What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Fill up with Eldorado Springs water or fruit-infused spa water in our tea nook area.

Take a tour of our calming, nature infused two story space.

What do I wear?

Whatever allows you to move comfortably. Don’t have yoga pants? No big deal- wear athletic pants, shorts, etc.

What about a mat?

If you have one and love it, bring it! If you don’t, feel free to use one of our cork mats that are displayed in the studio.

Let the instructor know it is your first class and ask if you need any special props. We typically have a sample set up at the front of the room where we will teach, so you can see what you need.

Available props in the studio:

  • Blocks- to help “bring the floor to you” and support the body to be able to release

  • Bolster- used to support a larger area of the body

  • Blanket- can be rolled to use as a support or unfolded to use during final rest (savasana)

  • Strap- useful to “lengthen your reach” during a pose

  • Cork Balls- used during the Yin + MFR class to target tight muscle areas

  • Consent disc- we want to respect your boundaries at all times. In some classes, we may offer hands-on support to help you deepen into a pose or relax fully during final rest. Place the consent disc to communicate if this is welcome or not

“(Warm Resilient Flow) Love Marissa’s classes! They’re well planned with thoughtful transitions and a good balance of strength and stretching. And Marissa is so kind and welcoming.”
